Our Forest Playgroup offers a gentle, welcoming introduction to outdoor learning for young children and their caregivers. Rooted in play-based exploration, this class invites little ones to discover nature at their own pace through sensory play, seasonal activities, storytelling, and open-ended adventures in the forest. Children build confidence, curiosity, and early social skills while connecting with the rhythms of the natural world. Caregivers participate alongside their child, creating shared moments of wonder, community, and connection. Each session supports whole-child development in a nurturing, joyful, and nature-rich environment.
This is a weekly 2-hour class for families and their children. Families deepen their understanding of the benefits of being in nature, child development and the joys of exploring the outdoors in community.
